Fluke – COOK REPORTS TO: Chef RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist chef as needed Cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods Participate in food preparation Operate kitchen appliances and other equipment Clean kitchen appliances, equipment, and work area Plate and present food for service Ensure food quality and presentation meets or exceeds standards Practice workplace health and safety procedures Washing dishes as needed QUALIFICATIONS: Prior kitchens experience required Ability and willingness to work flexible hours ex) evenings, weekends, and overtime Effective communication and a team oriented Ability to multitask while remaining organized and efficient under pressure Knowledge of cooking terminology, weights, measures, conversions, and equivalencies Knowledge of food and beverage health and safety guidelines Attention to detail and comfortability carrying out repetitive tasks Completion of culinary program or courses an asset REQUIREMENTS: Ability to lift up to 50lbs Must be able to stand for duration of shift SERVSAFE or equivalent WHMIS Certification
