For your security and the security of our users, we validate all employers prior to approving them for membership on WorkPEI. We do this to ensure the individual who registers on behalf of your company has the authority to do so.

We also ensure that companies joining WorkPEI are in good standing with various provincial and federal departments and can clearly demonstrate their physical location and nature of their operations in PEI.

WorkPEI strives to perform its employer validation within 48 hours, however if your information is insufficient or we are unable to verify certain details about your operations in PEI it may take longer. We must also speak with you via telephone so if employers fail to respond to our calls it may delay our validation process.

When you register on WorkPEI your account must be validated, however while awaiting approval we allow you to post your first job listing. This job listing will be published once your employer account is approved.

At any time, to post a job visit your Dashboard where you’ll see the tab to “Manage Jobs”. Click this tab where you’ll see the link to “Post a Job”. Complete the form and click Submit.

WorkPEI provides employers with tools to monitor all active and expired job listings including any applications you’ve received.

By clicking on the Applications box for each job you can view your applications. You can view their contact information and if they uploaded a resume it will be available to view or download.

You can also comment on each application and rate them using a scoring system. If you wish, you can download all of your applications to a CSV file if you wish to manage them offline.

Login to your account and you’ll be taken to your Dashboard. Choose the “Find Talent” tab and you’ll be taken to the job seeker database. Search by keyword or by using the available filters.

Despite our best efforts, some jobs seekers choose not to provide sufficient information in their online profiles. WorkPEI is constantly working to educate job seekers on ways to improve the quality of its user profiles.

Profiles also feature contact information in the sidebar. For candidates who apply by uploading a resume, use the contact information provided.
