Bulk Milk Transport Driver / Grader

Bulk Milk transport driver, must be able to drive a tractor trailer tanker as well as a 10 wheeler with tank. Job consists of picking up and grading bulk milk and delivering to the correct dairy. There is a grader license needed after job starts which is a 2 day course, smelling and tasting milk to grade it on site. Work schedule is 4 days on and 2 days off year around. A company car is available, most times to save miles on the trucks. Most work days are 7 to 11 hours, depending on schedule, breakdowns with trucks or at the delivery plant. Job Description Key Responsibilities: Oversee the daily planning and scheduling of all repair work to optimize productivity. Follow up on repairs being made, perform repairs as needed and appraise performance of shop personnel. As part of our growing team, SFX Transport is looking to add another Driver Trainor to our Driver Development team. The Driver Trainer will report to the Driver Development Lead on a daily basis to meet the needs of our development program. This is a daytime, Monday to Friday position, that is hands on with long haul driving trainees. It is based out of our Charlottetown terminal and does not require the individual to drive long haul or be gone overnight. Driver will be expected to complete loads that are sent to their truck, keep track of paperwork, perform pre-trips and manage their log books to best work with their loads.
