Masonry Labourer

Job Description:

West Masonry is seeking applications for two Masonry Labourers to join our team. The ideal candidate would be a highly motivated and reliable team player who will assist in various tasks related to masonry construction projects.

Job Duties

• Transport brick, block, and other construction materials to work areas. 
• Erect, and dismantle scaffolding. 
• Assist with mixing mortar & cutting brick/block.
• Assist masons with their daily job tasks.
• Operate power tools including wet saws & mortar mixers. 
• Cleaning and general upkeep of construction sites. 
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in masonry preferred.
• Knowledge of basic hand and power tools used in masonry work preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks in various weather conditions.
• Basic math skills for measuring and mixing materials. 
• Reliable transportation.

Working Conditions

• Work is performed outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Will be required to work at heights or in confined spaces. 
• Must be willing to work within dusty and noisy environments. 
• Must be willing to travel to various work sites based on project needs. 
• Must be capable of performing physically demanding labour, including lifting over 40 lbs.
