Responsibilities: A Facilities Coordinator oversees building maintenance and is responsible for scheduling preventative maintenance tasks, reacting to maintenance emergencies, and coordinating with contractors and tenants regarding maintenance issues.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of commercial and residential facilities and the included real estate.
- Plan, organize and direct administrative services such as signage, cleaning, maintenance, parking, safety inspections, security, and snow removal.
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate construction projects to modify commercial and residential properties.
- Oversee the installation, maintenance and repair of real estate infrastructures including machinery, equipment, and electrical and mechanical systems.
- Plan and manage the facility’s operations budget.
- Prepare or oversee the preparation of reports and statistics related to areas of responsibility.
- Direct the maintenance and repair of an establishment’s machinery, equipment, and electrical and mechanical systems.
- Develop and implement schedules and procedures for safety inspections and preventive maintenance programs.
- Coordinate cleaning, snow removal and landscaping operations.
- Administer contracts for the provision of supplies and services.
- Plan and manage a facility’s maintenance budget.
Qualifications & Experience (preferred):
- Minimum of 2-3 years of management experience
- Strong negotiation, time management and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and manage project budget.
- A high degree of client service orientation
- Ability to manage vendor relationships and performance.
- Experience in working with confidential information and respecting the importance of confidentiality.
- Driver’s license
Salary: $40,000-$60,000 – based on experience
