Responsibilities: Marketing duties:

  • Website maintenance, updating and content editing.
  • Email marketing.
  • Social Media marketing.
  • Development of marketing plan with budget.
  • Event management such as trade shows and client events.
  • To research online website trends and customize for Target Tours website.

Sales Duties:

  • To handle telephone inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • To handle client inquiries and take reservations for tours.
  • To process payments for clients.
  • To provide travel insurance quotes.
  • To assist with transition to new reservation software.

General Duties:

  • To assist with Strategic Planning and Execution.
  • To manage one’s time effectively and to prioritize daily and weekly work schedules.
  • To be aware of and adhere to office policies.
  • To work cooperatively with all staff members.
  • To become an expert on our touring product.
  • To assist with product development.
  • To know benefits and features of travel insurance and offer correct product to clients.
  • To assist accounting with bank deposits, cash receipts, and other data entry as required.
  • To ensure safe handling, storage, and passage of Company monies.
  • To ensure payments are completed in a timely manner.
  • To keep track of invoices from suppliers.
  • To review and proof documents.
  • To accept any other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school graduation, plus a college certificate or university degree. Education in Marketing/Business Administration/Commerce considered an asset!
  • Only recent post-secondary graduates who have graduated within the last five years may apply.
  • You must be legally authorized to work in Prince Edward Island (Canadian citizen or permanent resident)
