Job Description:
We are now hiring full-time summer tutors!
Our summer tutors are responsible for:
- tutoring children with disabilities from grades 1-12
- creating personalized play-based learning plans for 1-hour tutoring sessions
The job entails:
- 10 weeks of work at 37.5 hours/week
- Approximately 25 hours are tutoring, and the rest of the hours are spent planning sessions and travelling to the student’s homes
- Weeks of employment involve a training week (in Charlottetown) and a preparation week and are then followed by 8 weeks of tutoring
- pay: $15.40 per hour and mileage
Job requirements:
- An insured vehicle and a valid driver’s license
- Completed one year of post-secondary education
- Available to start in June
