Job Description:
Coordinate a Summer Program that connects high school students to the community. Act as supervisor to Team Leads and program participants. Deliver a program with a focus on personal development, employability skills, life skills, and soft skills while introducing participants to a variety of industries in PEI.
- Coordinator will develop list of potential participants, interview and select program participants.
- Assist in the development of a Participant Orientation package.
- Work with Team Lead to develop curriculum.
- Establish connection with community to assist in providing mentorship to the participants (speakers, tours, placements, etc)
- Organize tours
- Oversee program budget
- Submit weekly reports to ResourceAbilities Employment Services Manager
- Complete evaluation of program
Qualifications:
Relevant post-secondary education, or any combination of education, training, and experience. Knowledge and understanding of youth with barriers. Organizational, networking and public relations skills, effective verbal and written communication skills. This position requires ability to travel.
