We are looking for an Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of electrical systems and components and be able to diagnose and repair any issues that arise. The successful candidate will be able to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals, as well as possess the ability to work with a variety of tools and equipment. A strong commitment to safety is essential for this position. Pay range listed with offered pay based on your experience.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and other technical documents.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components.
• Inspect electrical systems and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems using a variety of testing devices.
• Follow National Electrical Code standards to ensure safety of all electrical components.
• Provide technical advice to customers on the proper use of electrical equipment.
• Maintain a clean and tidy work environment

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in electrical is an asset, but we are willing to train
• Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints and manuals.
• Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools.
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to deal with customers.
• Ability to be a team player.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour

Additional pay: Overtime pay

Schedule: 8-hour shift Monday to Friday with occasional overtime as necessary.

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Ability to reliably commute to Wheatley River (required).
• Driver’s License (required).

Experience:

• Electrical experience: 1 year (preferred)
• Licence/Certification: Electrical diploma
