Job Description:

Power’s Monuments is seeking a responsible individual to work as part of a team to perform various tasks related to monument installation and cemetery services/maintenance. Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Preparing plots for cemetery monument foundation installation.  This includes measuring, digging, operating a tamper and leveling with fine gravel.
  • Loading and unloading granite monuments, equipment and tools as necessary.
  • Cleaning and repairing cemetery monuments.
  • Operating motorized equipment.  (Ability to operate mini excavator would be an asset).
  • Other duties as assigned.

A valid drivers license is an asset.  Steel toed work boots and rain gear is required.  All other safety equipment will be provided. Power’s monuments is an independent Island operated business and there is plenty of opportunity to learn new skills and grow within this dynamic operation.

Starting wage is flexible based on experience and can advance quickly based on merit.
