Job Description:

The PEI Watershed Alliance, a non-profit organization representing 25 watershed groups across Prince Edward Island, is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Project Manager. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage project budgets effectively and ensure adherence.
  • Prepare and submit all grant reports.
  • Oversee and maintain the Alliance’s equipment bank, including scheduling and upkeep.
  • Coordinate and deliver training sessions for staff and partners.
  • Attend conferences as necessary to enhance skills

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education
  • Post-secondary education (college or university) in the sciences.
  • A graduate degree is considered an asset.

Core Competencies

  • Adaptability and a willingness to embrace challenges.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (please provide an example in your application).
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
  • A positive, outgoing attitude with a proven ability to collaborate with diverse partners.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Excel and related Microsoft applications
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks.

Other Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license with the ability to drive a truck.

Compensation and Benefits

  • 37.5 hours per week at $26 per hour.
  • 50% coverage of private health insurance.
  • Reimbursement for personal vehicle use at the federal rate (currently $0.51 per km).
  • Monthly stipend of $50 for personal cell phone use.
  • Laptop and other necessary equipment provided.

Terms

  • Full-time, year-round contract position.
