Job Description:

Oversee the organization’s budgets, ensuring alignment with multiple federal and provincial funding agreements through collaboration with funders and Program Managers.

  • Review program staffing requests to ensure alignment with budgets and funding.
  • Prepare regular financial reports for NCPEI management and Board of Directors.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Ensure transparency and accountability in financial reporting and compliance with tax regulations applicable to non-profit organizations.
  • File necessary tax forms and reports in a timely manner.
  • Manage and forecast cash flows to ensure the organization’s financial stability.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
  • Assess and manage insurance matters, working closely with relevant parties to expedite the process.
