Job Description:

Kennedy Metals is a family run business that has been in operation since 2014, we are a manufacturer of metal roofing and siding, for residential, commercial, agricultural and industrial projects. We pride ourselves on our unmatched Customer Service and a fun, positive, professional work environment.

Currently, we have an opening for a full time Estimator at our Pleasant Valley, PEI Location.

Knowledge, Education and Experience Required;

• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Prepare quantity take-offs
• Strong communication, math, writing, computer and reading skills.
• Excellent team player who supports continuous development
• Organized
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Keen attention to detail
• Exceptional problem solving, prioritizing, and time management skills
• Excellent customer service skills

Qualifications:

• Experience as an Estimator in the construction/steel industry
• Customer Service experience

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Provide take-off’s from blueprints, drawings and sketches
• Provide Customers with Estimates in a timely fashion
• Input information into work order’s for production
• Communicate with customers, employee’s and vendors
• Follow projects through from start to finish.
