Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our team. As a Driver, you will be responsible for transporting Lime and Gypsum from our stockpiles to the spreader in the field.

We offer great wages for our Drivers. Season is approx. 4-6 weeks, starting mid-April and ending late May/early June. Our work is done before crop goes into the ground! If you are a skilled driver with a passion for delivering exceptional service to customers, we encourage you to apply!

Contract length: 4-6 weeks
Salary: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 65 – 85 per week

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate heavy equipment, including trucks and a loader, to transport lime to the field
  • Load at the yard with the loader and unload lime directly into spreader
  • Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic automotive repairs as needed
  • Build customer relations with

Experience:

  • Commercial driving experience is required
  • Experience operating heavy equipment is a bonus
  • Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance is a plus

Requirements:

  • Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Good communication skills to interact with team members and customers
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
