Job Description:
We are Island Air HVAC Services, your go to for HVAC Services through Central PEI. Locally owned and operated and well versed within PEI’s construction industry.
We are looking to hire a Ventilation Technician.
The position is in the surrounding areas of Central PEI.
The Ventilation Technician is responsible for executing the installation of the specified system, adhering to safety standards, ensuring high-quality work, and delivering excellent customer service.
Common Duties:
- Read drawings, specifications and be able to layout rooms as per plans
- Install all ductwork required
- Install all equipment such as air exchangers, fans, controls, diffusers etc.
- Test system for proper operation
- Assist with the installation of heat pumps
- Complete all necessary paperwork, including installation reports, time logs, warranty information and inventory usage
Experience:
- Experience with installing ventilation systems in a residential setting is required
