Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various commercial settings. This role is essential in ensuring that all areas are kept to the highest standards of cleanliness, contributing to a safe and pleasant environment for employees and clients alike.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and other common areas.
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are stored safely.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina; able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies is a plus.
