Apprentice Carpenter (3rd Year)

Job Description:

Arsenault Bros. Construction Ltd are seeking Carpenters in Cornwall, PE. Answering to the Foreman & Project Manager, the Carpenter will be responsible for a variety of on-site duties required for day-to-day construction operations.

We want to hear from you if you have any of the following skills:

• Frame & Erect Walls;
• Install Interior Finishes;
• Install Windows & Doors;
• Measure, cut, and assemble materials made of wood and other materials;
• ICF Foundations;
• Set Floor Trusses & Subflooring;
• Set Roof Trusses;
• Construct Decks;
• Other rough carpentry skills.

The successful candidate should have or be able to:

• Be self motivated;
• Have own hand tools, driver’s license, and a reliable vehicle;
• Perform their work in a professional, timely, safe, and ethical manner;
• Ability to work independently, as well as in a team setting;
• Remain focused on task, have excellent attention to detail;
• Be a good communicator;
• Be reliable.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Grade 12 or GED equivalent;
• Prior experience in the construction industry an asset.
