Craft Beer Sales Representative

Job Description:

The Sales Representative will work with Copper Bottom’s owners to grow the presence and distribution of our beer within the province of Prince Edward Island and the Atlantic provinces. The candidate will act as an ambassador for the company, promoting our brands and products.

Responsibilities include:

• Maintain and grow sales relationships with wholesale accounts in Prince Edward Island.
• Identify and create relationships with wholesale accounts in Prince Edward Island.
• Assist in the development of sales presentations, product selection, and proposals.
• Prepare and administer sales agreements and maintain customer records.
• Assist with implementing and reporting on marketing and sales activities to achieve business goals.
• Communicate regular relevant information regarding accounts, products, opportunities, etc. to the Owners and Marketing Manager.
• Coordinate product samplings, knowledge sessions, and off-site events.
• Proactively conduct outbound sales calls to drive new business and repeat business with current accounts. Cold-calling potential accounts
• Respond to inbound client calls with a high level of customer service and attention to their wants and needs.
• Resolve any order-related problems.
• Participate in weekly sales meetings to update the team on weekly progress and strategize for the coming week.
• Assist the purchasing department in gauging interest in new products.
• Preparing pre-orders and reports on sales activities and updating client relationship management databases
• Act as a representative to the Copper Bottom Brewing & Bantam Hard Seltzer brands.
• Other duties as required.

Requirements:

• Sales Experience
• Knowledge and passion for craft beer and the desire to educate yourself further.
• Attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Previous background in sales is considered a strong asset.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
• Initiative taker with the ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail
• Dependable, reliable, and punctual
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be 19+.
