Business Description
Souris Sauces makes delicious salsas, hot pepper sauces, mustard pickle and other goodies from produce grown here on our micro farm in Souris West. We have a small greenhouse that we grow our hottest peppers in and a large high tunnel where the sweeter peppers are grown. The rest of our micro farm is planted with tomatoes, cucumber, beans and a few other crops. We would like to hire a student that has a keen interest in agriculture - this person would be planting seedlings and seeds, maintaining growing plants (watering, weeding, supporting etc.) in both the field and greenhouses. Once harvest time comes, you will be busy picking and sorting the produce you have nurtured. Other odd jobs may be required such as grass cutting. We are located just past the bridge in Souris West with a wonderful view of the ocean.
