The Friends of Elmira Railway Museum Inc. own and operate the East Point Lighthouse, 404 Lighthouse Road, East Point and the PEI Miniature Railway at the Elmira Railway Museum, 457 Elmira Road, Elmira PE . The Friends of Elmira are a large seasonal employer in the Eastern Kings area for cultural tourism. The Miniature train operates for school and other prearranged tours in June and September and daily for all visitors during July and August. The East Point Lighthouse is open daily with guided tours from June 6 to September 4.
