Canada Summer Jobs

PEI Citizen Advocacy has been approved by Service Canada to hire three students for summer (8-week) positions. We are hoping to fill these positions as soon as possible.

We are seeking college/university students for the following positions:

1. A media person who can make two, short multi media productions. One is to be a promotional and public relations video about PEI CA and our advocate/protege matches. A second production will be to transform our Advocate Training Manual into an online presentation to use in future webinars or to post on our website.

2. We are also looking to hire someone to update our website and Facebook page and assist with promoting PEI Citizen Advocacy by assisting with the production and editing of the multi-media productions and assisting proteges who lack computer skills, teaching them to use email and search the Internet.

3. We are also looking to fill a third position with someone interested in helping with a Therapeutic Horticulture project that is running as a pilot project at the PEI Farm Centre Legacy Garden.

Students interested in any of these positions should send a resume, cover letter and references to: peica@eastlink.ca
