Island Lavender Distillery
Business Description
Island Lavender Distillery is a Lavender Farm & Gift Shop in Prince Edward Island. The Lavender Farm consists of over 4000 lavender plants, where you will learn about how we grow, harvest, and distill to produce our own Lavender Essential Oil. We use our Lavender Essential Oil in our large line of all-natural products that are handmade on our farm, including soap, skincare, bath products, candles, and so much more!
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to assist with sales and production at the Lavender Farm in Bonshaw and Gift Shop in Charlottetown. Students enrolled in Business, Agriculture, Horticulture, and Esthetics are encouraged to apply. No experience necessary but an interest in retail sales / business, and natural cosmetics is an asset.
Job duties will include:
- Retail associate - opening & closing store duties
- Processing sales, stocking shelves
- Serve customers by helping them select products, sharing product knowledge
- Assist with harvesting and bundling lavender during harvest season
- Assist in making lavender products
