CDC is a not for profit community economic development organization that strives to foster a strong economic environment in Central PEI. Its goals include:

1) Establish effective partnerships within Government, Business and Communities with a view on Economic Development.

2) Support business growth through advocacy, promotion and supportive measures.

3) Facilitate new business and community investment in the region.

4) Support the growth of healthy communities.

5) Increase the self-sufficiency of CDC as an Economic Development organization

CDC continues to work at attracting new and expanding businesses to the region through the infrastructure within the 3 commercial properties.
