Stratford Area Watershed Improvement Group (SAWIG) is a non-profit environmental organization. SAWIG staff, directors, and volunteers dedicate their time and resources to improving and protecting the local environment in the Stratford and surrounding areas of Hazelbrook, Pownal, and Alexandra.
SAWIG strives to be a voice for the environment through public communication, advocating for changes in policy and practice, and through its many hands on projects and initiatives.
