University of Prince Edward Island - Centre for Health and Community Research
Business Description
We are a multi-disciplinary research centre at the University of Prince Edward Island in Canada. Collaborating with our Canadian and international partners, we aim to build expertise in health and community well-being and research capacity through the Secure Island Data Repository (SIDR). We work with researchers, decision makers, administrators, front-line workers and community members to determine priorities and develop research questions in order to generate and translate the knowledge and evidence they require to make informed decisions. We provide research-based information, data and advice to decision makers who advance their areas by implementing new approaches and solutions for systemic challenges impacting the health, well-being, safety and resilience of our communities.
Our team is composed of talented individuals who bring a wealth of experience from a variety of disciplines and sectors. Our greatest strength lies in our ability to work together to capitalize on the diversity of our perspectives and approaches.
