Blue Bay Farms Ltd. is a 3rd generation family farm located in Rustico, PEI. We currently grow approximately 650 acres of seed and table potatoes. Most of the potatoes are packed and shipped through local dealers and are destined for markets within Canada as well as the USA.
In addition to the potato crop, we grow over 500 acres of cover crops - primarily mustard, tillage radish, ryegrass, and peas. These crops are beneficial for holding nutrients through the winter, reducing soil erosion, and improving soil health. We have built long lasting relationships with our neighbors and trade land often to maintain healthy land rotations.
