When Harold Spencer and Harry Richard founded Parts for Trucks in 1919, there were only 10,300 registered vehicles in all of Nova Scotia, with no more than 1,000 of them commercial. As the industry and Atlantic Canada's economy grew, the company expanded to accommodate a diverse selection of parts and equipment as well as provide wider support to trucking fleets.
Throughout the years, we've built a reputation for quality products and services that have earned the support of a growing number of customers in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland and Labrador.
Additionally, we've formed enduring relationships with many heavy-duty truck component manufacturers in Canada and the United States, helped found the buying group Vipar Heavy Duty, and have been long-standing members of the Commercial Vehicle Solutions Network (CVSN) and the Atlantic Provinces Trucking Association (APTA).
