Brits Fish & Chips
Business Description
Family-run, serving locally sourced ingredients, proudly part of the Charlottetown community since 2005.
Brits Fish and Chips was established in 2005 by Paul Lawson. Mr. Lawson, a native of Lincolnshire, England began his career operating a small fish and chip trailer that he hauled around England and Scotland, frying up delicious homemade chips and freshly caught fish. When he decided to move his family to Canada he brought his recipes and experience with him. For four years he served up the most delicious fish and chips on Prince Edward Island before deciding to sell the business to his longtime cook. The traditions and methods learned under the guidance of Mr. Lawson prevail to this day and we will continue to serve up the best fish and chips that PEI has to offer.
We hold a high standard to the fish we use, therefore we know that the closer the fish is caught, the quicker we can get it to the table. Our fish is sourced from Victoria, PEI and from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. Our suppliers practice sustainable fishing to ensure a low impact on our beautiful and bountiful coastal water habitats.
