In our homes we need access to information to stay informed about our families and communities, allow our children access to their homework and once in awhile research local restaurant reviews. Additionally, we are often looking for on the go access without a secret password, or complicated login process. Even if one can find an available connection at a coffee shop or mall, the service is slow, not secure, unreliable and more often than not, expensive.
Wicked EH? is a simple idea: everyone should be connected to the Internet with reliable, fast, and affordable service. Imagine the impact to a community and local businesses if people were able to find what they needed online when they needed it – a map, a restaurant menu, event calendar, phone number, even a trivia answer. Wicked EH? currently offers two services, a turn-key high speed wireless solution for communities and the second is residential high speed internet plan. We are currently expanding our wireless #WickedWifi across downtown Charlottetown with a roadmap to cover 85% of the island. We want to empower our users to be part of the digital community. By extension, local businesses will thrive as consumers are able to connect with ease. Wicked EH?'s core concept: Access to information should be free, while one should expect to pay for internet that provides entertainment, such as gaming, streaming movies and photo/video sharing.
