Business Description
Under the umbrella of the Rural Community of Afton, Afton Community has joined with 4 other communities to study ways and means of going forward under the new provincial Municipal Governance Act. The group will be shortly be working with a hired consultant to study our current structures and to help us look at potential future governance structures. To that end, the West River Group was formed by representatives of Afton, Bonshaw, Meadowbank, New Haven/Riverdale and West River. This group is engaged in working with the study consultants.
