Garden of the Gulf Museum
564 Main Street, Montague, PEI
Business Description
The Garden of the Gulf Museum (GGM) is PEI's oldest community museum which began operations in 1958. Situated overlooking the beautiful Montague River, this historic building was once the Customs and Post Office. Now it assists in preserving the local history of the Town of Three Rivers and the surrounding area by housing historic documents and artifacts. The 2018 season marked the 60th anniversary of the GGM's years in operation. A lot has changed over the years of operation, but one thing remains - the dedication to continually improve, maintain, and provide the public with a place to explore the history of the Town of Three Rivers.
