Friends of LM Montgomery schoolhouse operate and run the last one room schoolhouse on Prince Edward Island. We operate with volunteers only for 10 months of the year but get funding for 8 weeks during the summer months to open up the museum on a full time bases. Operating Monday to Saturday 9 - 5 p.m. in Lower Bedeque area. We are the last place the LM Montgomery taught in a schoolhouse setting and have rebuild the schoolhouse to honour her and the community.
