In March 2026, Prince Edward Island’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was 7.3%, a decrease in the rate that was registered a year earlier and up from last month’s rate. The national unemployment rate was 6.7% in March, representing a decrease of 0.1 of a percentage point in comparison to last year’s rate.
