We are a Non-Profit organization based in the rural community of St. Teresa, 25 miles east of Charlottetown. We developed a memorial garden in the year 2000 to celebrate the new millennium. We’re looking for a post-secondary student to work in the garden for the spring and summer months. The duties of this job would include: maintaining the grounds in a weed free condition; pruning shrubs for optimal growth; creating a site plan of the current plants in the garden; recommending new plant species to add to the garden; and proposing ideas to engage community volunteers. A student with experience in gardening or working on a farm would be an asset, however not essential as long as you are used to working outdoors, can work independently and willing to learn some new skills.

Program Delivery Coordinator

The Program Delivery Coordinator will assist with the production of weekly ceilidhs and other rental activities in the performance hall. This will include, but not be limited to, acting as the frontline contact for current and future rentals, scheduling of the activity rooms, promoting ceilidhs and other activities through traditional and social media, and setting up the venue. They will also be assisting with the circulating library and conducting research with regards to the organization’s 200th anniversary in 2025. The successful candidate will have completed a minimum of one year of post-secondary schooling and will possess at least basic skills with MSWord, Excel and Outlook and be able to learn the operation of the audio/visual equipment used in the performance hall.
