In October 2024, the participation rate in Prince Edward Island was 67.2%, 1.3 percentage points higher in comparison to September 2024. Compared with October 2023, the rate increased by 0.2 of a percentage point. By comparison, the participation rate for Canada was 64.8% which represented a decrease of 0.8 of a percentage point on a year over year comparison.
