Job Description:
Jasper Wyman & Son is seeking dependable Farm Machinery Operators to work in our Morell, PEI farm location. We are seeking candidates with a passion for farming, a willingness to learn, a strong work ethic, an ability to work independently, and a safety-focused mindset.
The successful candidates should have prior experience operating farm machinery, be able to lift up to 50lbs, and be able to do physical labour. Candidates must be willing to assist with beekeeping duties.
Previous experience in farming or agricultural work is preferred but not mandatory; we are willing to train motivated individuals. Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for maintaining farm machinery.
The regular workweek is Monday through Friday, but the successful candidate must be flexible to work weekends and travel during harvest. Overtime rates apply after 40 hours per week. The pay rate is dependent upon qualifications (DOQ) and will be discussed at the interview.
