Job Description:

Oak Acres Children’s Camp (Located on the beautiful Murray River)

Oak Acres is looking for highly motivated and energetic camp counsellors to complete its roster for the 2025 camping season. Oak Acres is an overnight camp that accommodates 7-12 year old island children. Meals and lodging are provided for the summer! Some transportation to and from the camp can also be provided.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Plan, implement, and participate in camp activities including, but not limited to: camp wake-up, clean-up, meals, swimming, canoeing/kayaking, sports, outdoor adventures, arts and crafts, archery, theatre, music, theme days, and field trips.
• Responsible for the health, safety, and general well-being of campers

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children but not a necessity
• Criminal background check with vulnerable sector check
