EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
Casual Tennis Court Supervisor (15-weeks)
The City of Charlottetown is seeking dedicated and responsible individuals to join our Parks and Recreation team as Tennis Court Supervisor. The successful candidates will be responsible for supporting the Tennis Clubhouse Supervisor in overseeing the operations of the Victoria Park Tennis facility and programs to ensure customer satisfaction and effective facility operations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance to the Victoria Clubhouse Supervisor with the overall operations of the tennis facility, including scheduling court reservations, managing equipment inventory, and supervising the Clubhouse.
- Provide supervision of tennis courts to ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines.
- Inspect equipment and facilities regularly to ensure safety standards are met. Report any deficiencies to the Clubhouse Supervisor.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of Victoria Park Tennis Clubhouse and storage areas.
- Responsible for collecting and recording fees (i.e. light fees, damage deposits, etc.)
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, and daily reports and notify the Victoria Park Clubhouse Supervisor of any incidents or emergencies that occur.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for visitor inquiries, feedback, and concerns, ensuring prompt and professional resolution.
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment that promotes participation and engagement among visitors and program participants.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Experience with scheduling and program coordination.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Frist Aid and CPR Certification.
- Must be capable of working flexible hours, including daytime, evenings, and weekends.
Salary: $18.00 per hour
