Branco Management Inc. is seeking a dedicated Skilled Laborer/Lead Hand to join our team. This position involves leading a team member while performing specialized demolition and remediation tasks with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, leadership abilities, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and work alongside 1 other team member to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Organize and maintain Branco Management Inc.’s specialty tools and equipment.
• Read and interpret project plans and ensure accurate execution.
• Coordinate with clients and project managers to meet project requirements.
• Ensure site safety by reporting hazards, unsafe conditions, and near misses.
• Participate in project closeout, ensuring all tasks are completed to standard.

Requirements
General Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in demolition.
• Ability to work out of town and night shifts as required.
• Physically able to lift 50 pounds consistently.
• Experience working at heights and in confined spaces.
• Proficiency with at least two of the following demolition tools:
• Wall Saw
• Walk-Behind Saw
• Concrete Saw
• Concrete Floor Scraper
• Eddy-Stripper
• Jackhammers
• Core Drills

Preferred but not required:

Valid safety certifications, such as:

• Fall Protection
• Aerial Lift Tickets
• Confined Space
• WHMIS 2015
• Asbestos Awareness
• Asbestos Management (3-Day)
• Experience in Abatement and Hazmat remediation.

Key Technical Skills:

• Ability to read and interpret project plans.
• Experience leading and coordinating with 1 other team member.
