About the Role: 

We’re hiring a Process Operator to join our Milk Receiving team at the Water Street Cheese Plant in Summerside. This is a hands-on, steady role where you’ll be actively involved from start to finish—receiving, testing, and processing milk so it’s ready for production. If you like being productive throughout your shift and prefer work where there’s always something to do, this could be a great fit.

Location: ADL Water St. – 79 Water St., Summerside, PE

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and unload raw milk from producers.
• Perform sampling and quality checks on milk deliveries.
• Operate and monitor pasteurization equipment (HTST system).
• Clean and sanitize equipment, tanks, and milk lines.
• Keep accurate records and paperwork of product movement and processing.
• Help with other production duties when needed.
• Follow food safety, health & safety, and company procedures.

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in food production, dairy, or manufacturing is an asset but not required — training will be provided.
• Comfortable with hands-on, physical work and following routine procedures.
• Strong attention to detail, especially with paperwork and safety protocols.
• Able to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, based on plant operations.
• A team player with a positive, reliable attitude.
• Willingness to learn and complete training.
