Prince Edward Island’s employment numbers increased 300 persons to 95,100 persons when comparing December 2024 to November 2024. On a year-over-year basis, employment increased by 3,200 persons or 3.5% in December 2024. Over the same period, Canada’s employment increased by 2.0% or by 413,400. In Prince Edward Island, there was a year-over-year increase in persons employed full time (+0.1%) and an increase in persons employed part time (+25.4%).
