Prince Edward Island’s employment numbers increased 100 persons to 93,900 persons when comparing March 2025 to February 2025. On a year-over-year basis, employment increased by 2,200 persons or 2.4% in March 2025. Over the same period, Canada’s employment increased by 1.7% or by 347,400. In Prince Edward Island, there was a year-over-year increase in persons employed full time (+2.6%) and a decrease in persons employed part time (-2.5%).
