Prince Edward Island’s employment numbers increased 2,700 persons to 94,800 persons when comparing November 2024 to October 2024. On a year-over-year basis, employment increased by 3,600 persons or 3.9% in November 2024. Over the same period, Canada’s employment increased by 1.6% or by 329,300. In Prince Edward Island, there was a year-over-year increase in persons employed full time (+3.3%) and an increase in persons employed part time (+7.8%).
