Job Description:

Located in the heart of downtown Charlottetown, Rodd Charlottetown Hotel has been known for its warm island hospitality, historic charm, and commitment to creating exceptional guest experiences. We are currently seeking a friendly and service-driven Night Auditor to join our team on a Part-time basis.

This overnight role is essential to ensure the accuracy of our daily financial records while providing excellent guest services during quieter hours.

Shift: 11:00 pm – 7:00 am (2 shifts per week)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Audit and balance the hotel’s daily guest and restaurant ledgers
  • Ensure all charges are accurate and properly recorded
  • Investigate and correct all discrepancies
  • Prepare daily deposits and ensure the correct starting cash balance for morning shift’s front desk
  • Serve as the Front Desk Representative overnight and assist guests as needed

Key Qualifications:

  • Strong commitment to guest service and hospitality
  • Proficiency with database and computer systems
  • Strong organizational skills, including coordinating and managing reservations
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, courtesy, and follow‑through
  • Flexibility to work weekends, and holidays
