The Construction Association of PEI (CAPEI) is a non-profit organization that supports over 350 members across the Island’s construction industry. We’re looking for a motivated student to join our team as an Office Admin Assistant to help out with a variety of administrative tasks, events, and employment programs.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to gain real-world experience in an office and construction training centre setting, support CAPEI events, and learn more about the construction sector.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Helping update member information and safety certificates
- Printing and organizing blueprints for member pickup
- Assisting with categorizing CAPEI members based on location
- Answering phone calls and directing them to the right person
- Participate in blueprint lesson plans for our tiny home builds
- Assist in delivering virtual reality workshops
- Assisting with CAPEI’s annual Golf Tournament
- Helping with kids’ programming during our Girls Summer Trades Camp
- Updating the digital curriculum for the training centre
- Posting updates and event content on social media
- Supporting the office team with day-to-day tasks and ongoing projects
What We’re Looking For:
- Comfortable using Word, Excel, Google Docs, and social media
- Friendly and reliable with good communication skills
- Able to stay organized and manage time well
- Willing to work as part of a team and pitch in where needed

40 Enman Crescent, Room 223 (Royalty Centre), Charlottetown, PE
Duration: July 6- August 28th 2026

Type: In-person
Hours: 8 am- 4 pm, (37.5 hours per week), (longer hours during event days)
Salary: $17.00- $17.75 per hour
