Permanent Full-Time Position – ADL Foodservice – Summerside, PE

Position Overview: 

Reporting to The ADL Store Supervisor, the Store Key Holder supports the day-to-day operations of The ADL Store. This position helps ensure the store operates efficiently through merchandising, inventory management, cash handling, staff scheduling, customer service, and vendor relationships while maintaining a safe, organized, and welcoming shopping environment.

Location: The ADL Store, 400 Read Drive, Summerside, PE

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the day-to-day operations of The ADL Store to help achieve store goals while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
  • Process customer transactions, complete daily cash reconciliations, prepare monthly reports, and conduct bank runs for coin orders.
  • Assist with staff scheduling and support the onboarding and training of store staff.
  • Monitor inventory levels, maintain retail refrigeration shelves, and ensure products are organized and rotated in accordance with FIFO principles.
  • Set up and maintain attractive product displays throughout the store in accordance with merchandising standards.
  • Support initiatives that maximize sales and profitability, including maintaining the store’s social media presence.
  • Follow and enforce store policies, security measures, and customer service standards while maintaining a clean, safe, and appealing shopping environment.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with customers, vendors, and onsite staff.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in customer service/customer experience.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with inventory management.
  • Experience with POS systems, particularly Shopify, is considered an asset.
  • Solid understanding of social media and e-commerce.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent listening skills.
  • Strong work ethic, positive team attitude, and dependable.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
