Receptionist

What you’ll do:

As Receptionist, you’ll join PEI Mutual’s Records Department Team where you’ll be part of providing a wide range of administrative and support duties to various departments in the operation. Job tasks include:

  • Provide a welcoming environment, greeting members, visitors, and staff in a professional and courteous manner
  • Manage a multi-line phone system to answer policyholder and agent inquiries
  • Redirect calls and send accurate messages to co-workers, agents, and adjusters
  • Accept and process payments
  • Check and respond to emails
  • Review, prepare and mail letters, invoices, and renewals
  • Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system
  • Restock various forms, applications, and supplies
  • Various other general administrative functions related to the insurance industry

  • Proficiency in using computers and knowledge of general office procedures
