Abegweit Animal Hospital is expanding and we are looking to add a full time, permanent veterinary receptionist/pharmacy attendant to our team. We are a fast paced, small animal veterinary practice who provides service for the greater Charlottetown area and beyond. We provide clients with options for in-house and referral laboratory procedures, digital whole body and dental radiology, ultrasonography, surgical, medical and preventative services/procedures and much more.
As a veterinary receptionist/pharmacy attendant, duties would include:
- Scheduling appointments
- Maintaining and completing accurate patient medical documents
- Filling and preparing prescriptions
- Liaising between clients and doctors
- Inputting charges and taking payments
- Maintaining a clean and organized working environment as well as providing client education.
- Veterinary medical experience is an asset for this job
