In March 2024, Prince Edward Island’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was 7.4%, higher than the rate that was registered a year earlier and up from last month’s rate. The national unemployment rate was 6.1% in March, representing an increase of 1.0 percentage point in comparison to last year’s rate.
