Heavy Equipment Operator Duties include: Operate heavy equipment such as backhoes, bulldozers, loaders, excavators and/or graders to excavate, move, load and grade earth, shale, rock, gravel, piping, or other materials during construction and related activities, primarily for laying water and sewer piping at new construction. Operate heavy equipment to move, load and unload cargo Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and clean, lubricate and refill equipment. Other duties as required. Work continues into December 2025.  Class 1 license an asset. Two or more years of experience in ground construction or water/sewer experience preferred. GPS experience preferred. Drivers abstract required.

Duties to include: Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of workers who operate excavators and other similar heavy equipment in the installation of new underground water and sewer piping.
