Position Overview We seek a passionate and reliable Assistant Cider Maker to join our production team. This hands-on role involves all aspects of cider making—from pressing apples and fermentation to packaging and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about fermentation, comfortable with physical labor, and eager to grow their skills in the craft beverage industry. Key Responsibilities: Assist in all stages of cider production: fruit processing, fermentation management, racking, blending, filtering, and packaging Clean and sanitize tanks, hoses, kegs, and other equipment following standard operating procedures (SOPs) Operate and maintain cider-making equipment, including pumps, presses, filters, and bottling/canning lines Monitor fermentations, record data, and assist with lab analysis when required Follow safety and cleanliness protocols to maintain a safe work environment Load/unload and organize materials, such as apples, packaging supplies, and cleaning chemicals Assist with quality control and sensory evaluation Support seasonal tasks such as harvest prep and orchard work (if applicable) Qualifications: Experience in fermentation, brewing, winemaking, or related field is a plus but not required …
