In the third quarter of 2024, net migration into Prince Edward Island was 798, compared with a net inflow of 2,215 in the same quarter of 2023. Net inter-provincial migration into Prince Edward Island was a loss of 221 in the third quarter of 2024, down from a loss of 38 persons a year earlier. Net international migration was an increase of 1,019 persons in the third quarter of 2024, down from a gain of 2,253 persons from the same quarter in 2024.
